As Quakers we are opposed to the use of military force. We believe there is that of God in each person and are therefore committeed to nonviolent solutions to conflict, acknowledging this shared humanity. We now call on our government leaders to listen to that very God within themselves and engage in multilateral, nonviolent approaches to the current conflict with the government of Iraq.
